Underwriter
(андеррайтер)
любое лицо, берущее на себя риски. В контексте рынков капитала дилер, который обязуется купить выпуск ценных бумаг или его часть по заданной цене. Наличие такого обязательства дает эмитенту гарантию того, что ценные бумаги будут размещены по конкретной цене. Таким образом, андеррайтер берет на себя риск размещения ценных бумаг среди инвесторов, в обмен он берет с эмитента оплату.
